Cold Spring Harbor Family Room

Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island

Location

Set against the charm of Cold Spring Harbor, this family room was reimagined as a bright and welcoming hub for everyday life. A once-understated fireplace became the centerpiece of the space, redesigned to be both functional and stylish. Layered textures, soft window treatments, and warm lighting brought comfort and depth, while practical furnishings ensured durability for a busy household. The result is a family room that feels airy yet grounded - comfortable enough for lazy Sundays, spacious enough for gatherings, and timeless enough to grow with the family.

Living room with a white fireplace, a black TV mounted above it, pink flowers in a silver vase on a white table, and a woven gray basket to the right of the fireplace. Two wall-mounted lamps flank the TV, and large windows with curtains are on either side, letting in natural light.
Cozy living room with a gray sofa, pink flowers in a silver vase, framed photograph of a woman on a beach, a window with white curtains, a white table lamp, and a patterned cabinet.
Living room with beige armchair, fireplace, green plant, window with fall foliage, cream curtains, and a mounted television.
A cozy living space with a beige armchair, decorative pillow, window with white blinds, pink flowers in a silver vase, and a geometric-patterned rug.
